Description

Newton Fork Ranch will become your "home away from home," as a peaceful oasis from a world filled with time constraints and non-stop activity. The Ranch will afford you a welcome respite from the hectic life of TV and internet. An afternoon, sitting on the deck watching wildlife, or an evening, spent by a warm fire, will transport you to a far simpler and more tranquil time. Newton Fork Ranch is located directly on the 109 mile Mickelson Trail and is only 1/2 mile from shopping on historic Main Street in the old gold mining mountain town of Hill City, South Dakota. Highlights in Hill City include the 1880 Train and Prairie Berry Winery. This smoke-free property features fully-furnished cabins which include kitchens with refrigerators/freezers, electric cooking ranges, ovens, microwaves, dishes, utensils, cookware, and coffee-makers. Linens and towels are also provided. Other amenities include hair dryers, AM/FM radios, CD players, gas fireplaces, gas barbecues, and air conditioning during the summer months. Grandma's Ranch House features a wood-burning fireplace. GUESTS TRAVELING WITH HORSES: Two heavy-duty 12' x 12' paneled corrals are available for a small rental fee.
