General Policy

Physical Location 12407 Deerfield Road Hill City, SD 57745 Driving Directions: Newton Fork Ranch is located approximately 1/2 mile west of Hill City on the Deerfield Road. If entering Hill City on Highway 385/16 from the northeast stay on Main Street, do not take the highway bypass. Watch for the Exxon Station and Slate Creek Grill located at the corner of Deerfield Road and Main Street. Turn right on Deerfield Road. If you enter Hill City on Highway 385/16 from the south, do not take the highway bypass but continue through downtown on Main Street to the Exxon Station and Slate Creek Grill. There you will turn left onto Deerfield Road. When entering Hill City on Highway 385/16 stay on Main Street; do not take the highway bypass (Railroad Avenue). Watch for the Exxon gas station located at the corner of Deerfield Road and Main Street. Turn onto Deerfield Road and continue up the hill and out of town one-half mile. The ranch is located on your left. Watch for the log post structure and "Newton Fork Ranch" sign. Upon entering the ranch, continue on to your cabin which will be unlocked and ready for your arrival.

Written Cancellation Policy

Reservations cancelled by 3:00 pm MT 21 days or more prior to the arrival date, will be charged $70.00 fee. Reservations cancelled within 21 days of the arrival date are non-refundable. Holiday Reservations (December 20 – January 2, President's Day weekend, Memorial Day weekend, Labor Day weekend and other special events) - $70.00 fee if the reservation is cancelled 21 days or more prior to the arrival date. Non-refundable if cancelled within 21 days of the arrival date. NONREFUNDABLE SERVICE FEE CHARGED AT TIME OF RESERVATION.

Written Deposit Policy

Equivalent of one nights rental is due at the time of booking. Final payment is due 21 days prior to arrival. NONREFUNDABLE SERVICE FEE CHARGED AT TIME OF RESERVATION. A $30 Cleaning Fee will be collected at time of booking.

Check In

Pets Policy

This is a pet-friendly property. Animals must not be left alone, and owners are responsible for any damages. Animals must be kept on a leash when outside and cleaned up after. The nonrefundable fee is $15 per pet, per night. A $150 clean-up fee will be charged if needed. Pets must be removed from cabins or crated during housekeeping services, or guests may opt out of housekeeping services while the pet is present. GUESTS TRAVELING WITH HORSES: We have two heavy-duty 12' x 12' paneled corrals available for a small rental fee. Located in a lovely aspen grove, there is also room for guests to erect their own electric fencing if preferred. Guests need to provide and feed their own horses and we require each to have a current health certificate (within 30 days) and a negative Coggins test (within one year).

Other Policy

STURGIS MOTORCYCLE RALLY DEPOSIT: This deposit policy is in effect only for the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally. Equivalent of one nights rental is due at the time of booking. Final payment is due June 1st and will automatically be charged to your credit card. NONREFUNDABLE SERVICE FEE CHARGED AT TIME OF RESERVATION. Your reservation is confirmed at the time of booking. Please sign and return the attached contract from BLACK HILLS CENTRAL RESERVATIONS acknowledging our policies. STURGIS MOTORCYCLE RALLY CANCELLATION: This cancellation policy is only in effect for the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally. If a reservation is cancelled prior to June 1st, there is a full refund less a 1 nights deposit. If a reservation is cancelled after June 1st, no refund is due.
